BERKELEY, Calif. -- Clean Energy Capital announced today the launch of Clean Energy Capital Securities LLC (CECS), a registered broker dealer and Member, FINRA and SIPC. The new entity is authorized to engage in private placement of securities, M&A advisory services, municipal advisory, and sale of tax shelters and limited partnerships.

CECS will operate through its head office in Berkeley, California and through branch offices in Houston, Atlanta, and Pasadena. CECS has added bankers Bill Garnett, Chris Clegg and Brendan Dete as registered representatives of the firm in addition to David Moore and Stephen Smith.

"Our new broker dealer entity allows Clean Energy Capital to provide expanded services to our clients in the renewable energy and clean infrastructure sectors," said David Moore, CEO and Managing Director of Clean Energy Capital. "Our strategy of bringing large ticket transactional expertise and relationships to the mid-ticket sector has been well-received," Moore notes. "We are picking up engagements one step earlier than our blue chip competitors and are picking up projects that are one notch smaller. The regulatory compliance function of CECS is important to our clients and supports our continued growth."
