Waipio Solar Project - Closing of Sale and Purchase Transaction

SAN FRANCISCO – Clean Energy Capital today announced the sale and purchase of the Waipio Solar Project, an approximately 16.275 megawatt solar generation facility located on 14 sites on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Project is located on Navy and Marine Corp bases including Joint Base Pearl Harbor‐Hickam. Energy generated by the Project will be sold to the United States Government acting through the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific. The originators of the Waipio Solar Project are TriLateral Energy, an energy project developer, and Environmental Chemical Corporation (ECC), an engineering, environmental, and construction company focused on completing projects for the Federal Government and particularly the U.S. military. The Owner/Operator will be NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, the largest generator of wind and solar power in North America and an experienced energy services provider.

Clean Energy Capital acted as advisor to the sellers. The terms of sale have not been disclosed.
